Hello Friends! Finally, my move over to ChefScape in Leesburg is complete and I've already started working on some goodies for Sweet Home Thai's Premier Cooking PartyClass (I'm calling it a PartyClass because it's too fun to just call a class) in ChefScape's brand new teaching kitchen. Tickets to this special event can be found here. Space is limited.
Let's take a culinary vacation to Thailand to erase the winter blues!
Sweet Home Thai's first PartyClass will include some of my favorites:
Herbaceous Thai cocktail
(additional drinks are available for purchase anytime during or after event)
Cumin Spiced Nuts
Fresh Rolls with Shrimp
Laab Moo (Salad with Pork)
Red Curry with Roasted Duck served with Jasmine rice
Fresh Mango with Ginger Ice Cream and Coconut sauce
(this is a gluten free menu with vegetarian and protein options available in pairs: i.e., 2 person
minimum for vegetarian or varied meat options as you will be working in pairs)
Our first PartyClass will run on Saturday, March 9th from 6:00-9:00 pm, and will include a super fun evening of instruction with tips on creating these dishes at home, a recipe book and a sit down meal to enjoy your creations. Afterwards, continue the party or enjoy a nightcap at Bar AhSo in ChefScape. They are serving up some great innovative cocktails!
ChefScape is a chef's collaborative and incubator kitchen for new culinary ideas. It's 16,000 sq. feet of an exciting new concept including a cool bar, live music, a gourmet food court, teaching kitchen, event space, pop-up restaurants, tasting area and a market specializing in locally made products. I hope you can come out on March 9th to experience the fun! Check them out on Facebook: ChefScape Leesburg
